On October 13, 2022, Vitagora organized Appetite for Innovation – their flagship event bringing together members of its ecosystem, from regional, national and international level, for a day of business meetings highlighting the different areas of expertise that make up its diverse network. It is composed of companies of all sizes, including start-ups, SMEs, large companies and academic research teams and Vitagora aims to support them on innovation related topics.
The objective of Appetite for Innovation is to link those actors in order to facilitate the establishment of new projects and partnerships.
The event brought together nearly 100 people, to include a delegation of Rwandan SMEs, as part of a project endorsing innovation and competitiveness in the Rwandan agri-food sector as well as representatives of Vitagora’s long-standing partner, the Japanese Agriculture and Food Research Organization.
The event represented a great opportunity to introduce SEA2SEE project and its objectives to the attendees by one of Vitagora’s members and project manager for the Page Up company – a SEA2SEE consortium member and leader in the field of traceability. He took the opportunity to go into details regarding the project’s core work packages dedicated to Traceability technologies development and Data Management. These 2 work packages are also closely related to Tilkal, the French partner in charge of developing infrastructure network based on blockchain.
