DESCRIPTION:The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network\, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy. \nThe EMD is the place where ‘Ocean Leaders Meet’. It provides an engaging and complete interactive experience to catch up on the current state of play on a broad range of issues concerning the blue economy and the marine environment and discuss ways of moving forward. It features a large number of excellent speakers\, thematic sessions\, stakeholder workshops and project pitch sessions organised by stakeholders and the European Commission. The EMD targets professionals from businesses\, governments\, public institutions\, NGOs and academia. \nThe 2023 edition of the European Maritime Day will take place in Brest\, France\, on 24-25 May as physical event. \nThe EMD 2023 is being organised by the European Commission\, the City of Brest\, the Secretariat General for the Sea and the Region of Bretagne. \nRead more

DESCRIPTION:Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global is the global seafood marketplace\, serving industry professionals and buyers from all corners of the supply chain and world. \nAfter its first successful debut at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Vía venue\, Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global\, the world’s largest and most diverse seafood Expo\, returns to Barcelona for its 29th edition on 25-27 April 2023. \nIn April 2022\, the event brought together 26\,703 attendees\, 1\,556 exhibiting companies from 77 countries occupying 39\,847m2 of sold exhibit space and had an estimated economic impact of up to 100 million euros for the Catalan capital. \n2023 is already tracking ahead of last year’s edition with more than 45\,000m2 of exhibit space\, highlighting all types of seafood products as well as processing equipment and services from suppliers from around the globe. \nIn addition\, the 29th edition will expand the offer of its conference program as a platform to discuss new challenges\, opportunities and solutions in the sector at a global level. The program will include more than 20 informative sessions by industry experts.
